The O!Zone Condom Shop - Boise, IDGabriel Fallopius developed the first condom in the mid 1500's. He designed a medicated sheath to fit over the tip of the penis and under the foreskin. Later he developed a condom specifically designed for circumcised penises. It was held on by a pink ribbon to make it more appealing to women. Because pregnancy prevention was the female's role, men actually wore them to prevent the spread of venereal diseases - syphilis, in particular.
