Many of our label materials are semi-permanent ? they can be removed by just lifting a corner. Our static cling labels, for example, are easily removable. Our permanent adhesive labels require a bit of work to remove. Start by heating the label. Wait for the sun to hit the label or use a hair dryer. Start with a corner of the label. Many use their fingernail; a knife or even thin credit card works well, too.

Use Sticker-Off! Decal Adhesive Remover. Just spray it on the adhesive, allow a few minutes for the product to penetrate and then wipe away with a clean, soft cloth.

NO, it is not recommended at all to use paper labels on DVD-R. Reports strongly indicate that DVD-R discs that have had CD type paper labels applied can have playability problems such as skipping and stuttering. Also as DVD drives run warmer than CD drives the discs get hotter and as such the adhesive glue can soften resulting in the label coming loose. Even though some brands of paper CD labels may be marked as suitable for DVD we still do not recommend using these.

Customers report few problems in applying labels to fluorinated containers. Fluoro-Seal recommends the label and adhesion be part of the compatibility testing done to qualify the package before going into production.

Use our inexpensive fence clips. They come in pairs. For most people, fastening a sign with our clips is actually a 'one person affair'.

Although our iron-on labels are designed NOT to be removed, if you have a need to remove them, then we suggest you try the following. Cover the label with a THIN, DRY pressing cloth or handkerchief, and using the hottest heat setting that your garment will withstand, apply heat for 10-15 seconds. Use dilute Brewer's Edge Cleanser (William's product #A25), using 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Use eye protection and gloves for safety when mixing Brewer's Edge Cleanser. Soak the bottles for 24 hours or longer, until the labels start to lift off the glass. Some labels, particularly waterproof foil labels, are very hard to remove, but many commercial labels will just lift off the glass. Rinse thoroughly when done.
