Yes. If a student contests a final grade, he or she has 30 calendar days to submit a written appeal to the instructor. The letter of appeal should be accompanied by all course materials to be considered. A classification is a letter from A to E (with A being the highest) that is earned in competition. The classification reflects the skill level of a fencer.
