The thumbnail image layout on your screen is dependent on your browser window size. The larger your Web browser window, the more images that fit. If you find printouts of the archive page are being cropped when you print them, try two things. First, set up your printer driver to print in a "Landscape" format (prints across the wide part of a page instead of the narrower part).

From the main window, from the File Menu, Open a Project. Once in the Open File window, double click on the examples folder. Inside the examples folder, open the project called testmargins.tkb. Print one page. Measure the margins on the page and set the printer, margins accordingly (using the Printer Margins Layout in the Layout Menu for TicketBench.) Pages on this site are designed to be printed with page margins set to 1/2". You may change your margin settings by selecting Page Setup from the File menu of your browser. Once you have changed your margins, select Print Preview from the File menu to preview the page prior to printing. I don't know why, but I do know that it's not specific to PrintToPDF, it can happen with a PDF file from any source. You may be able to reduce or eliminate the dots by adjusting advanced settings in the Epson printer driver. In the case of the Stylus Color 600, the No Halftoning option seemed to do the trick. In the case of the Stylus Color 760, the No Halftoning option is not available, but increasing the Brightness setting helps. ColorSync may also be involved.

If you are printing to a local printer which is *not* a postscript printer, but using CUPS, you can't. It is a limitation, as far as we can tell of CUPS. If you have a "real" postscript printer, Scribus - with CUPS support - will support any arbitrary page size, as long as the printer support it. This is solved in Scribus 1.2.3+ (stable) or Scribus 1.3.1+(development), as long as Scribus is compiled with littlecms support.

No special printer is needed. You can print a test paper using any printer in black-and-white or in colour.

I was curious about this question, because of the number of people who like printing from pine on The ITD Login Service to a local printer, so I wrote a little script that prints a file to the local printer. There are several ways to print the web page currently displayed in your browser. Choose any one of these methods to print the current page. Click the "Print" button in your Internet Explorer toolbar. Look for the icon of the printer at the top of your browser. In the evenings they will call the Reference Department. When the machine runs out of letter size paper, it usually still has the longer, legal sized paper. There is a line in the WebRecord.ini file that is required for the BJC-7000 printer. In some cases, this line; "CJRSTR=nopp" may cause minor issues with other printers. If you are unable to print a single page in Enhanced printing mode, and do not have a BJC-7000 printer, locate the WebRecord.

Open up the print queue by clicking on Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes and clicking on the appropriate printer. Make note if there are any documents in the queue that are returning an error status. If there are, try to clear the queue by right clicking on the documents and selecting cancel. If you are unable to clear a queue, please contact Support Services who should be able to clear the queue for you. Once the queue is cleared, try printing to the printer again.
