By default, DeviceLock? Service is using dynamic ports for the RPC communication with DeviceLock? management consoles. The ports change every time DeviceLock? Service is started, making it difficult to configure a firewall. To overcome this difficulty, you can instruct DeviceLock? Service to use a fixed port.

Every server on a computer has a unique port number. The second server must be on a different port number than the main server. The standard port number for web servers is 80. However, MyWebServer enables the user to select any port number.

I want to use two machines over ssh. One machine has a differnt port than 22. But I can't set a port in the host specifications for ssh.

Yes. ACI Client can automatically detect the server if it's on the same LAN using broadcast packets. When ACI Client is behind a router, you can specify the IP Address and port number to use in an INI file. See here for details. Any application other than the monitored application is ignored. If the idle time limit is enabled for the user and is reached, ACI will close the application.

By expanding the front and back porch so that the picture send to monitor matches the resolution needed by the monitor, but the computer picture takes the part of the center of the monitor and other parts are covered byt those increased front and back porches. Obviously the image won't cover the enire screen, but it is a lot better than nothing.

If the remote server is running sshd(8), it may be possible to ''tunnel'' certain services via ssh. This may be desirable, for example, to encrypt POP or SMTP connections, even though the software does not directly support encrypted communications. Tunnelling uses port forwarding to create a connection between the client and server. The client software must be able to specify a non-standard port to connect to for this to work.
