The GMAT is the standardized test used by business schools to determine admission into their programs. The test lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours. You'll have two half-hour essays that you'll write first followed by a 5-minute break. Next, you'll have a 75-minute quantitative section consisting of 37 questions followed by another 5-minute break. You'll finish with a 75-minute verbal section consisting of 41 questions.

Answer: Yes, McCallum Graduate School of Business School applicants are required to take the GMAT. Applicants to the MS Human Factors in Information Design, MS in Finance or MS Information Technology may submit GRE scores in the place of GMAT scores. The other exception would be for the MS Financial Planning and the MS Taxation, waivers for the GMAT include the following: Passed all portions of the CPA, Bar, CFP exams or Master’s Degree in Business

Answer: Yes. The McCallum Graduate School will accept completed sections of the application individually. However, a decision will not be made until all application materials including the official GMAT scores have been reviewed.

Answer: Most programs require applicants to submit their Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores to the McCallum Graduate School. MSIT and MSHFID applicants may instead submit GRE results. For the MSA, MSFP and MST programs, other appropriate test-based or advanced academic achievements (e.g. passing the CPA or bar exam, earning a master’s degree or PhD) may be considered a substitute for the GMAT on a case by case evaluation. The GMAT is required for all MBA applicants.
