All our wigs are made from 100% modacrylic. The reason for this is that a human hair wig, apart from being extremely expensive, is heavier to wear, requires frequent attention to styling and often requires chemical cleaning. A human hair wig/hair piece will straighten if it is raining and will fade when exposed to the elements.

Lace wigs can be parted anywhere on the cap. If you are covering your hair, the trick is to have your parts look natural by either wearing a stocking or wig cap that is close to your skin's color. Some clients can even get a natural looking part without wearing a wig cap.

There are currently no WIG craft widely commercially available. There are some craft that have been produced in small numbers and it might be possible to obtain one (Amphistar, Volga). Some other craft are currently being tested and may go into series production soon (TY-1, FS-8).

Not really. The TY-1 has been used for gaining operational experience for a while now on a lake in China and the FS-8 is currently undergoing trails near Cairns in Australia. There may also be some Volga-2's be in operation in Russia, but no more details are known.

All of our wigs have some open weave, stretch construction, which allows air to circulate around the scalp, and lets heat escape, for a cool, comfortable feel. Yes! It's easy to style and cut our doll wigs! You can add curl to a wig by putting sponge rollers in the hair and misting it with water. Let the hair sit overnight, and the next day the hair will be curly! Just make sure not to use heat on the wigs. You can also trim the wigs just as you would human hair. Some dealers use hair spray to keep the new style that they have given the doll.

I make soft hats and head-dresses and trim straw or felt obtained elsewhere. For anything else I use a wonderful milliner called Catherine Delaney. I do not provide wigs but I recommend Derek Easton, who has provided wigs for many of my customers.
