Well obviously this would be to get 1 on 1 guitar lessons. However if you don't have the time and/or funds to do this then a systematic approach to practice is advised. Go buy some music theory and guitar lesson books. Work your way through these books and try to practice the guitar daily for a minimum of an hour. Absolutely! Bass tones will vary dramatically when driving through a 4-10 cabinet as opposed to a 2-15. Keep in mind that the Cabbone is designed to work with 100 Watt amplifiers. Using a more powerful amp at high volumes could cause the relays to arc. To make sure you do not damage the Cabbone or your amps, make sure you do not drive more than 100 Watts through the Cabbone. It has a 29 5/8" scale which is almost halfway between a guitar and bass scale length. It is tuned E-E a full octave lower than a guitar and uses all wound strings from .20 to .90 gauge. No, as long as nothing is being damaged, whatever gets you your tone is okay. Be careful, though, with combo amps, as the speaker is more easily damaged by the low notes on a bass at high volumes. How do I add a tube to a Marshall? That steel seems too thick to do a lot of filing, and I can't get a reduced-shank 3/4" drill bit. This is why Greenlee makes chassis punches. It's hard to say for sure; our capos were designed for guitars, but there is a pretty good chance that one of our guitar capos will fit your bass guitar. Some bass necks are not much larger than guitar necks, and our S1, C1, C1k or C1B will fit those. If it's just a little larger, one of our 12-string capos might work: S3, C3,C3k, or C3B.
