No, Rockcote texture coatings are thicker (have a higher film build) than paint, enjoy a longer life than paint and have aesthetic qualities that can't usually be achieved with a standard paint product. We do make a heavy duty acrylic membrane (paint) Armour & Armour Clear as a top coat for the protection of our texture coatings. You'll note, there are a number of finishes in the range such as Toscani that can be applied with a brush but technically they are not considered a paint.
