Any GSM or CDMA mobile phone capable of receiving SMS text messages can receive an SMS text message. However, there are some important restrictions on who you can send messages to, and for what reason. For example, you cannot send marketing messages unless certain criteria (including gaining the recipient's consent) are satisfied.

SMS, stands for Short Message Service, allows you to send and receive text messages trough your mobile phone.

When you receive an SMS text message on your mobile phone, a message appears on the screen to tell you that you have 1 new message. To read the new message select Read. Each new SMS text message is automatically saved on your mobile phone. You can access your saved messages at any time by going to your Messages menu and selecting the Inbox. To delete an SMS text message from your mobile phone, select the Messages menu and then go to your Inbox. You can browse through your saved messages to review messages you may wish to delete. To delete the message, select Options and then select Erase. It is a good idea to regularly delete unneeded messages from your mobile phone so as to free up memory for new messages. Yes. To send a personal message click on the "My home" tab. The process and steps are almost the same as the group message, with a few differences: when you are logged-in, you can select a person's name from your phone book, at "Select name" dropdown box above the "From" field. If the person you are trying to reach is not in your phonebook, select the country name and type in the mobile number in the proper field. On the confirmation screen, the "Provider" field is optional.

The instructions described in this section may vary depending on your handset type. Please refer to your handset user manual. If everything is correct, then the screen of the handset will display a note certifying the sending of the message, i.e. "Message sent". If the sending fails, the screen of the handset will display "Unsuccessful" or "Message failed",. Please repeat the sending.

Our SMS texting translation service has not been officially launched, but we are happy to allow our clients to use try out our sms translation service if you know you're going somewhere without internet access and would like to be able to have SMS text messages translated. Simply send your message in English or your foreign languages (make sure we support that language). We would like to see how useful this service can be.

You have to have a digital phone that supports two-way messaging in order to send or receive text messages on your phone. You also have to subscribe to your cell phone service provider's messaging service. If you're not sure, ask your parents to contact your cell phone service provider to ask about their text messaging service.

Yes. If the recipient replies to the message, the reply will be sent to the Inbox of your email application. If you choose to reply to this message, then your reply will be sent back to the mobile phone of the original recipient.

You will be able to receive an SMS message if you currently have a 10-digit SkyTel Personal Access Number; however, you will not be able to reply to it. You will not be able to originate any SMS messages without subscribing to the service.
