We will accept college-level academic course work from regionally accredited two- or four-year college or university. We will evaluate credits from colleges outside the United States on an individual basis. We accept credit for Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), and some kinds of credit by examination if those examinations are administered by another college. To grant transfer credit, we require official transcripts.

Yes. Junior and senior college students transfer into the certificate program each year. Most, if not all, of the freshman courses taken at other institutions are transferable, which greatly reduces the course load during the first year. However, completion of non-radiographic courses at other institutions does not reduce the time necessary to complete the certificate program in radiography.

The Faculty of Harvard College cannot raise a student's recommendation above that which is determined by the Committee on Degrees in Social Studies, but it can lower the recommendation when the student fails to meet college-wide cut-offs set by the Faculty. Harvard College limits the number of students graduating sum cum laude and magna cum laude together to 20%, and students graduating cum laude to 30% of the student body.
