I scanned black-and-white images into MICROSOFT PICTURE IT! and the results were distorted. Why?

You may have started PICTURE IT! Software as a stand- alone application and then selected 'Get Images' from the PhotoDoc scanner, choosing black-and-white scans. When the scan was transferred to the PICTURE IT! application, the image was garbled, although grayscale and color scans were fine. The solution is to scan black-and-white images into the PICTURE IT! application by using the Launcher's PICTURE IT! icon, and your black-and-white scans transfer correctly.
