Currently, there is no minimum GRE score requirement to be reviewed for admission, however, the TOEFL minimum is 213 computer based or 550 paper based. Refer to http://www.gradschool.purdue.edu/admissions for additional test score requirements.

For foreign applications, we require a TOEFL score of 600. While your GRE score is important, we have no specific cut-off for GRE scores, and consider the GRE score to be just one part of your overall application. All applicants must submit a GRE score to be considered for fellowships or graduate teaching assistantships.

Not unless you've finished at least one year of study in an English-speaking University. Taking the TOEFL and getting a passing score is a University Requirement.

The humans subjects regulations decision charts from the Office of Human Research Protection (OHRP) will help you to see whether your research falls under the human subjects regulations and if so, whether it meets the criteria for Exemption 4. Please note: OHRP advises that investigators should not have the authority to make an independent determination that research involving human subjects is exempt. OHRP guidance states that Exemptions should be independently determined.

Exemption 4 includes research involving the collection or study of existing data, documents, records, pathological specimens, or diagnostic specimens, if these sources are publicly available or if the information is recorded by the investigator in such a manner that subjects cannot be identified, directly or through identifiers linked to the subjects.

IELTS result is the most conclusive evidence that DIMIA will accept as proof of your English language proficiency. Other exam/test scores may be accepted at the discretion of the case officer. It is possible to submit a pass in the Occupational English Test (OET) which is conducted by the National Language and Literacy Institute of Australia as this is an official alternative to IELTS.

Your TOEFL IBT, scores cannot be viewed at the Testing Center. They are available on the TOEFL website 15 business days after the test.

Official score reports can be requested through ETS and sent to UCHC using institution code 3915. A departmental code is not required. Currently, copies of score reports sent to students are acceptable for the TOEFL exam only.

The GRE and TOEFL scores should be sent directly from ETS to Cornell University, university code 2098. Xeroxed copies of student scores do not constitute official scores. You should plan to take the tests allowing enough time for the official scores to arrive before the Field deadline; generally this process takes 3-4 weeks; however, it is recommended that the tests be taken no later than October due to the large volume of testing that occurs after that time.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language is required of all international applicants who received their undergraduate degree at a university or college in a country where English is not the official language. However, if at the time of application, you have already completed at least one year of full-time academic course work with grades of B or better at a U.S. university, you do not need to take the TOEFL. Instead, you must submit an official transcript from the U.S. university.

Once you ask ETS to send score reports to UCSB, please allow two to three weeks for processing. Once your scores have arrived, Graduate Division will update your application status.

The Graduate Division does not set minimum score requirements for the GRE. For international applicants required to take the TOEFL or IELTS, the minimum TOEFL score is 550 when taking the paper based test, 213 when taking the computer based test, and 80 when taking the internet based test. The minimum IELTS score for consideration is an Overall Band Score of 7 or higher. TOEFL or IELTS scores can be no more than two years old at the time of application.

Sections 3 and 4 of the Rules on Exemption list down the specific criteria and requirements to qualify for exemption, namely: registers a deficit of 20% or more of the paid up capital as of last accounting period and interim period immediately preceding the effectivity of the Wage Order. registers capital deficiency/negative stockholders' equity as of the last full accounting period or interim period immediately preceding the effectivity of the Wage Order.

Drexel University recommends that the applicant achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 250 on the computer-based test (600 on the paper-based test). The Graduate School does not prohibit applicants with lower scores from applying for admission since many factors influence the admissions decision. In regards to the new Internet Based test (IBT) applicants need to score a minimum of 80. You must request that official TOEFL score reports be sent to Drexel University code 2194.

If your TOEFL scores have expired, you must retake them. However, if you are currently a Purdue graduate student or you have graduated from a U.S. institution within the last two years, then there is no need to retake the TOEFL. If the Admissions Committee is still reviewing files, when your scores arrive your application may be reviewed. However, if your scores are not received by the February 1st deadline, all slots may be filled before your file is reviewed.

Very important, but only because we have nothing better. Your goal before admission should be to learn English, not to pass the TOEFL. Yale University attaches a great deal of importance to the process by which graduate students learn to become teachers. Every student is required to TA two terms, and may TA more terms if desired. Being an instructor or assisting one requires interactions with undergraduate students.

If you are an international student (and your medium of instruction for your undergraduate studies was NOT in English), you need a minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper based, 213 computer based, or 80 Internet based. This is a University Graduate Studies and Research requirement. Students that submit TOEFL scores lower than the minimum will be denied admission.
