Each lesson is 3-4 hours of instruction with 1 hour riding time. The lessons are divided between two thirty-minute sessions. Your session starts when you put on your wakeboard and jump into the water. The 5 to 10 minutes traveling to nice water does not count as your lesson time.

The answer is usually NO. Despite all the modern technology used in today's blimps they are cost effective only for advertising purposes. In relatively small blimps, passenger transportation is not profitable enough unless it is combined with an advertising mission. In the past, the small number of blimp rides which is available has been given to executives and clients of the advertisers/sponsors of the blimps. Blimp rides were available in Las Vegas for ten months in 2000 (see www.vegas.

This tour is designed for riders of all abilities. However, we strongly encourage pre-event training for all of our participants. Cyclists under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You will be observing what a patrol officer would normally do during his/her shift. Primarily, the officer will be answering calls for service, writing reports, issuing citations to violators, making arrests, or just patrolling his/her district. Your expected behavior, demeanor, and dress is explained in detail in the above rules. Do not hesitate to ask the officer questions whenever an opportunity avails itself.

Going solo will give me much more freedom. I'll be able to stop and hopefully speak to groups about the benefits of changing to a healthy lifestyle. Also, I want to be able to share my story and to raise awareness of the continued need for support for the musicians displaced by Katrina and how the High Sierra Foundation is helping those in need. There may be disadvantages, too, but there was never any question in my mind about whether to go alone or with a group.

The first and foremost reason to consider a recumbent bicycle is comfort. When you ride a recumbent bicycle your body feels good - no pain. Your arms and wrists are totally relaxed, as they do not support your weight. Your neck and shoulders are relaxed because you're looking straight ahead. The recumbent seat offers full ergonomic back and base support. While riding a recumbent, you should not experience any pain, chafing, or numbness.

Not very many, we're still working on finding an answer to this question. Historically, only a handful of thru-riders have successfully completed the trail. Section-rides tend to have a higher success rate.

Depends on what you're willing to do to get legs like this. For the rest of us.... this is completely up to you and your physical conditioning. We have several miles of trails in place currently with more underway. The trails are interconnected at several places. So you can really make up several different routes of varying lengths to suit your riding purposes.
