Google Maps uses a different projection than Spot for BlackBerry®. So the map may appear a bit squeezed. It will also be inaccurate if you zoom out too far. For normal street level use it should be accurate enough.

By far the easiest solution is to put the map in an "inline frame" using the <IFRAME> tag. This creates a "window" in your page into which you can load another file (more info about IFRAMEs). Good question. It seems that printing maps created using the Google Maps API is unreliable at best. Every browser seems to behave a little bit differently, so any "tricks" I include to make it work in, say, Firefox, might cause everything to blow up in Internet Explorer. Technically, no, but there's a practical limit. As the number of markers increase, so does the time required for the web browser to process them. It is possible that our map server was too busy or down out of service. What are web browser are you using; What are your web browser security settings; Do you have a personal firewall software on? We are still trying to improve our Mapping Application web site to work with other web browsers (Netscape, Mozilla, Opera) and some other web browsers work with our mapping site.
