Each email software has it’s own method to configure an email account. Please visit this page to see a list of possible configurations, and select your software to get a detailed walkthrough. Outlook Express users, please note: Go to the "Tools" menu, and choose "Accounts..." Then choose "Add"; then "Mail..." Then enter the information you're asked for, including the information above.

Email Command requires that when sending out-bound email using our SMTP servers that your email software be authenticated before allowing the use of our servers -- this helps us fight spammers. Your email software must be configured to authenticate you before your out-bound email will be sent. The username and password are the same ones you use to receive email. For most email software you will have the option of selecting to use the same username and password as you use for incoming email.

If you choose not to use VPN from off-campus and still want to send email through your own broadband provider, you will need to configure your mail client settings as described in the document Configuring Eudora Email When Off-campus. Suggested settings for Verizon and Comcast Cable broadband customers are included in that document.

With the variety of different email programs that are available, we cannot provide all the details for each and every one of them. All of them should have the same basic required settings for accessing your email. These are: For SMTP access to send email using your SMTP server, set your Outgoing Mail Server to: mail.yourdomain.

Some incidents require immediate action. You can't wait until someone checks the log files, you need to get notified on your pager right away. The easiest way to do that is by using the Log::Dispatch::Email::MailSend module as an appender. It comes with the Log::Dispatch bundle and allows you to specify recipient and subject of outgoing emails in the Log4perl configuration file: log4perl.category = FATAL, Mailer log4perl.appender.Mailer = Log::Dispatch::Email::MailSend log4perl.appender.Mailer.

If you have email that you are currently happy with, we recommend that you continue with that service. If you would like to use your email accounts with us, your email can easily be configured thru your Outlook or Outlook Express, or you can check your email online thru a webmail account that we can create for you.

You configure each section (numbered 1-10) by pointing DSpy to the proper directory on your network. By putting a shortcut to DSpy in your startup folder, it will start with your TSC client during every boot/login and automatically start tracking your TSC progress.

If you don't have E-mail software, you can download Eudora Light for free. Choose which e-mail software you are using. We recommend using Eudora. We use the term "catch-all" account when referring to Unix mail, but it doesn't catch all addresses. Addresses containing a dot in the name portion will not be delivered.

Depending on whether you're running the eBLVD Host or Client software (the Client software is used to connect to a PC running the Host software), you can set up our remote control products to work with your proxy server. Remove the checkmark from the "Automatically detect settings" option & click the "Manual configure" button. Remove the checkmark from the "Automatically detect settings" option & click the "Configure Proxy..." button.

Test-AutoBuild follows the standard MakeMaker practices for installation, so simply issue the commands: perl Makefile.PL make su -c make install Once installed it is neccessary to setup a basic directory hierarchy in which builds will be performed. The final setup step is the edit the default configuration file adding to specify location of the source control repositories and list the modules to check out & build.

If you have a UH Username, the wireless "network name" and password can be found by logging in to the UH Account Management system at http://www.hawaii.edu/account. Once you log in to the Account Management system, look for the link titled "UHM Wireless Network Settings". Clicking on that link will give you the wireless network name and password.

Even if a company installs ERP software for the so-called right reasons and everyone can agree on the optimal definition of a customer, the inherent difficulties of implementing something very complex. The packages are built from database tables, thousands of them, that IS programmers and end users must set to match their business processes each table has a decision "switch" that leads the software down one decision path or another.

If your software is really cool then it will automatically detect that PalmOrb is a (emulated) Matrix Orbital LK204-25 and just work. Sadly most software will need a little configuring. Most will want to know that it's a Matrix Orbital display, that it's screen size is 4x20, the serial port (or virtual serial port) that the Palm is connected to, and that the baud rate is 19200 (by default).
