The StyleMaster bed in Queen, King and California King sizes can be used either as a regular bed with box spring and mattress or as a platform bed, with no box spring. The side rails attach to the headboard and footboard by means of a metal clip and can be installed in one of two positions. Yes. The Silhouette adjustable platforms will fit inside standard Queen and King headboard, foot- board and side-rails. Because the Full XL and Twin XL are not the standard sizes that most bed frames come in, your standard Twin and Full bed frames will not work with these size adjustable beds.
