About 2 hours per week, depending upon many factors: How quickly your student types, if they need to read every single link in each lesson in order to understand key concepts, and how dedicated they are at staying on-task and getting their work completed in a timely fashion. The average number of hours is 2. The good news is that students are able to break apart those hours however they please across the course of a week.

a general guide our full time students normally have an average of 20 hours per week 'contact time' (i.e. taught sessions) spread over three days. You will also be expected to complete further hours of independent study. Some of this study requires you to be in College using facilities and resources or project work with other students.

About 35-40 hours per week in term time of which about 12-16 are contact hours. As our courses are demanding and are unashamedly aimed at able students, applicants are advised to consider the workload of our degrees as that for a full-time job.

All courses are timetabled and students are required by immigration regulations to attend at least 15 hours per week as a full time student. Again it depends on their location. Most camps run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. At some locations it is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your student may be at a site which requires before and after care. In those cases there will be additional time. In theses cases, the director will normally set up a rotating schedule so the counselors can trade off times. Keep in mind this is only the actual camp time. There will also be meetings during the week to plan and set up.

Each unit requires an average of eight hours self-study per week. Study Periods 1 and 2 run for a period of twenty weeks and Study Period 3 for ten weeks. For the purpose of determining how much time off work to allow for people undertaking the program, our educational consultants advise that the eight hours of self study can be considered equivalent to four hours of lectures plus four hours of self study.

Yes! Exemptions are made as some students are involved in a unique ministry that may have a unique schedule. This needs to be approved by the Director of Student Ministries.

Our impression is that a student spends from 10 to 20 hours per week. If of concern, you may wish to ask the student you are talking with if the University has an hourly commitment they are expected to make.

The student can work 20 hours a week during school and more that 20 hours during breaks if they have sufficient funding and their employer approves it.

A full-time student is any student taking more than 12 hours a semester. If at any time during the semester you drop a class, and your credit hours fall below 12 hrs, then you are conisdered a part-time student. In this situation, you may need to contact Financial Aid and/or Student Housing if applicable. Note: All athletes are required to take at least 12hrs per semester.

The full-time IELC program is 23 hours per week. Students with F-1 student visas must attend the program full-time in order to maintain immigration status.

This is a good question and the answer depends on many factors including the type of service you want to receive. A young child requiring early intervention will likely require more support than an older child working on just one or two target behaviours. For our early intervention service using the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), we recommend a minimum of 10 consultation hours per month.

The courses are structured to provide 48 credit hours. If the course is offered over a 12 week semester, this means you will need to spend about 4 hours per week on the course. Since the courses are offered asynchronously (not live time) you can “fit” your participation into your schedule.
