The medical expense reimbursement account is for health care expenses that are not covered by insurance, such as deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance amounts and non-covered items, such as eyeglasses, dental expenses, and certan categories of over-the-counter drugs and supplies. Employees may contribute up to $7,500 per year. The minimum contribution is $100 per year. The Dependent Care Reimbursement Account is for qualifying dependent care expenses.

In order to qualify for Medicare benefits, an individual must reach age 65 and enroll in the program. Medicare is comprised of two parts: Part A (hospitalization) and Part B (medical services). Generally, individuals turning age 65 who already receive social security benefits as well as those who have received social security disability benefits for two years automatically qualify for Medicare. Other individuals must file an application.

A new special enrollment period will begin November 15 and end December 31, 2006.  Coverage will begin January 1, 2007.  Persons who should have enrolled prior to May 15, 2006 because they didn't have coverage at least as good as standard Medicare prescription drug coverage but did not enroll will be charged a higher monthly Part D premium of one percent per month for each month when they should have enrolled.

Once you enroll, you can use our Program services for as long as you are eligible. Ans. The student may enroll at any time, day or month, of the year, in Bethany's off-campus program of study. On-campus students enroll for the fall semester in August and the spring semester in January. On-campus semesters are 16 weeks in duration.

The registration fee is $325 per student and is due at the time of registration. There is a discount applied when enrolling sibling groups.
