New powder coating technology has been developed by Dulux to powder coat engineered timber products like MDF board. Known as Dulux Trimatrx®, this unique powder coating is available only through Dulux Registered Applicators for Heat Sensitive Substrates. Dulux have tested many grades of MDF board with Dulux Trimatrx® and most boards provide a good surface for coating. For outstanding results, Dulux recommend Trimatrx® MDF Board in conjunction with the Trimatrx® Powder Coat.

CERAM-KOTE epoxy and urethane coatings should not be applied below 40?F (4.4?C) or to a surface temperature above 120?F (49?C). If the temperature is below 40?F (4.4?C), the catalytic reaction is halted between Part A and Part B. If the temperature is above 120?F (49?C) the solvents (used in most of the CERAM-KOTE coatings) are forced out of the coating film too rapidly, the coating film gels too rapidly, and the coating film can end up with holidays.
