The Craniofacial Team is where most children affected with cleft lip and / or cleft palate, Pierre Robin sequence, hemifacial microsomia, Crouzon's diseases and other related craniofacial conditions are evaluated. Children are seen by all the disciplines on the team. The Infant and Toddler Genetics Craniofacial Clinic is where newborns, infants and toddlers are evaluated. They are seen by a geneticist and advanced practice nurse.

Many NDs take additional postgraduate training in specific therapies and focus their practices on those treatments. The most common areas are nutrition, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture and botanical medicine. In some jurisdictions NDs may obtain post-graduate certification in the use of intravenous therapies including ozone and chelation. Not at this time. We encourage all patients if at all possible to come to the clinic in Nerang (central Gold Coast) for their first consultation. This is not required, but preferred. We have trained therapists from the US and will be opening clinics in the US by 2007.
