How do I apply for a Parent Plus loan?

The FAFSA is not required to apply for a PLUS loan; however, the Financial Aid Office does recommend that the parent choose one of our participating lenders. Parent loans are sent either electronically or in the form of a check to the University. The Financial Aid department processes the loan and the Student Accounting department processes the refund. Any parent loan sent electronically is posted to the student account and tuition and fees are deducted before the refund is processed. Any refund from a parent loan is sent to the parent through the mail or deposited in their bank account if they are participating in the electronic refund program.
