Question: What does it mean when my computer says it is buffering during an online workout?

iFIT Frequently Asked Questions
Answer: The music or video that accompanies your workout comes to you via an Internet technology called "streaming media". The maximum speed at which we can stream or transmit the workout to you is limited by the speed of your Internet connection. When you click to run your workout, you may have noticed that the workout music is "buffering" for a while before it begins to play. This means that the beginning of the music soundtrack is being temporarily stored in your computer's memory.

It means that whatever the Fortitude Value of the reversal you want to play, add 8F to it. So if I want to play an Escape Move, which costs 0F, it now costs 8F and if I have a Fortitude Rating of 7F or less, I won't be able to play the Escape Move. When the connection speed is insufficient to stream both parts, the audio portion takes priority and the scenic portion is not processed. Therefore, the data transfer speed that you have selected on iFIT.com is greater than the actual transfer speed provided by either your modem or your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
