Gap Foundation typically does not make merchandise donations by request. We do, however, partner with Gifts In Kind International (GIKI) to process all merchandise donations that become available. Interested nonprofit organizations may sign-up with GIKI to potentially receive donations from Gap Inc. and all of GIKI's other clients. Gifts in Kind is the largest product philanthropy organization in the world, and manages all Gap Inc.

A bridge—a device used to replace missing teeth—attaches artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth, called abutment teeth. Bridges can be applied either permanently (fixed bridges), or they can be removable. Fixed bridges are applied by either placing crowns on the abutment teeth—to provide support for artificial teeth—or by bonding the artificial teeth directly to the abutment teeth.

NCCC supports faith-based and other community-based organizations; national nonprofits; schools; local municipalities; national and state parks; and Indian tribes.

PTDN offers a forum for professional organizations to establish relationships and garner support from regional employers. Health GAP's budget is $380,000.00 annually. Funds support staff costs including (3) full-time advocacy coordinators, (1)part-time program assistant, and short term campaign related contractors; program costs including communication costs, travel, direct assistance to South-based treatment advocates and direct action campaign costs. Over eighty-six percent of Health GAP funds go directly toward program-related expenses and to support our dedicated staff.

The Foundation coordinates fundraising activities through a style of fundraising that is decentralized with centralized coordination, with directors of development serving each of the SIUE schools and college, and some major units.

The Foundation's grantmaking is focused on three areas: education, advocacy and activism. The Foundation's support is primarily distributed to cornerstone organizations for core operating support, although some support is project-specific or capacity building focused.
