Flash (.swf) files are material that have been created using Macromedia Flash. You can view this material online but you need to have installed the free Macromedia Flash browser plug-in.

WildPresenter's main output format is Flash SWF. Flash SWF is an open multimedia format created by Macromedia (now Adobe), which also releases the free Flash player. Flash offers many great features including interactivity, animation, video, audio and small file sizes.

SWF 'n Slide creates SWF flies that are compatible with the Flash Player version 5 and up. If you are publishing Projector files, the Flash Player is not needed.

Text-Osterone creates SWF files that are compatible with the Flash Player version 5 and up. If you are publishing Projector files, the Flash Player is not needed.

Flash will not import .swf files in the entirety that contain Actionscript, audio, video, or movie clips. You must either use the loadMovie actionscript command to load the .swf file, or export as a .fla file from Text-Osterone which can then be directly opened in Flash.

You need to make sure these swf file use absolute path to load each others. If they use relative path, then you need to download all swf files and create the same sub directory structure for the downloaded swf files.

The SWF files produced are compatible with Flash Player version 7 and up. If you are publishing Projector files, the Flash Player is not needed, and thus the minimum Flash version is irrelevant.

Flash Video MX has a very easy wizard that helps you to create swf files.

If an item has little or no description, sometimes the flash player doesn't have enough room in the top portion of the page and covers the files below. If you don't want to add a description (which would be nice, so that people know what they're listening to), you can add extra space in the description field using paragraph tags.

One way around this problem is to use the Load External File play mode to load a series of SWF files. In addition, by checking the "Unload movie at end " box in the Flash SWF tab of the Project settings window, or by selecting the "Remove when done playing" option in the Play tab of the Object settings window for a SWF file played with Load External File, the SWF player will automatically unload the media file once it has finished playing and return all the RAM to the client's system.

There are a number of ways for making alignment within your Flash movies easier. Set the size (width and height) of the WildPresenter movie to match the size of your main movie. Align the text where you think it should be, and save the movie. If you place the target movie clip for the "Load Movie" command in the exact center of the stage, the text effect should appear properly aligned inside your movie when you load it.

Sure! Many of our templates include flash/swish files that do not require specific programs to change the wording or the pictures. There is a note in each template letting you know if you can easily change the wording or images without using an extra program. If you must have SwishMax (the program we use to create the swish/flash files) to change the program, we will send you the source files (if they are not already included), so you can modify the file yourself.

pipe-delimited text (.txt) format files (OTCBB Symbol Directory, Daily List, Monthly Share Volume, etc.); self-extracting ZIP (.exe) files that expand into pipe-delimited text format files (Monthly Share Volume Report, Market Maker List, Other-OTC Symbol Directory, etc.). This information will need to be saved to your computer. Select File from the menu bar, then select the Save As... option You can now import the data into a spreadsheet or database.

Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) reproduces the exact look of a printed page and is used for documents that could not be readily deployed in hypertext markup language (HTML)--the "typeset" format that is designed for web browsers--or in the plain "typewriter" text of ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange). Also, the document may be offered in PDF along with one or both of the other two formats.

SWF files is the compiled version of flash presentation for VIEWING only. FLA file is the source code file of the flash presentation, which can be edited and re-compiled.

Save your vector illustration as an Adobe Illustrator 8 .EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) file. Your EPS file should be saved as an AI8 compatible EPS. If you would like to include alternate file formats (AI, PDF, etc) you can place them in a separate ZIP folder Flash Files: Create a 380 pixel (wide or tall, depending on the orientation of your animation.) RGB JPEG preview of your file.

Some users have been unable to get certain Flash files to open in Microsoft Internet Explorer. There appears to be some problems with the install files for the latest version of Flash. The best workaround we know of is to use the Flash uninstall tool to completely remove the Flash player. then, reboot your computer and browse to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.
