What about cylinder heads for a 4AGTE?
WC Engineering : FAQsFirst, if you ask me about "red top" or "blue top" cylinder heads, you're not going to get a response. If you ask me why you don't get a response, you won't get a response to that either. Let's just say that you need to do your homework. There are different camps that debate the large port vs. small port heads to no end. I have only used the early large port cylinder heads, so I cannot comment about the later small port heads. Can you supply ported and polished cylinder heads?
We could, but the design of Jaguar ports are among the best anywhere and we found long ago that money is much better spent in other areas so it is not something we normally provide. Port modification, other than cleaning up any casting imperfections, would normally only be worthwhile on a full race engine. Polishing ports is actually a complete waste of time - it just looks nice on the bench. The shape of the ports is the most important issue. See similar questions...
Q:What cars can be converted?
CalCars Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)At the moment, only 2004-2006 Priuses. Older "Classic" Priuses lack the low-speed electric-only mode and the battery storage space that makes this possible. Honda Insight, Civic and Accord use an entirely different design: the electric motor never runs without the gasoline engine running at the same time. Other hybrids, including Ford Escape, Toyota Highlander and Lexus 400H, are possible future candidates. We are not exploring PHEV versions of gasoline-only (non-hybrid) cars. See similar questions...

Q: If I wanted to get a 4th axis, to engrave around a cylinder, say, is there a way to do that?
Frequently Asked QuestionsYes. The Pro controller now supports a 4th axis. Depending on the gear ratio, you'd have to enter the correct resolution (ie. steps per degree) for your application. The software can only input DXF files which is a vector format, not bit-maps like scanned images. There is software out there (probably even shareware, try www.shareware.com) that will "vectorize" a scanned image. These programs are notorious for producing poor results however. Should I perform a Jackson cross-cylinder and/or Vectographic conversion for resultant cylinder?
Eye Care Professional - FAQs – Frequently Asked Questi...Some manufacturers have attempted to simplify the fitting process by offering "computer assisted" conversion to calculate cross-cylinder problems. These devices are currently being challenged in terms of their accuracy. Modern soft toric contact lenses such as ACUVUE® TORIC, have proven to be so stable in rotation, as well as in optical quality, that a simple adjustment in rotation will generally eliminate the need for additional calculative conversion.
