A:No. Neither the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) nor the Electrician Certification Curriculum Committee (ECCC) reviews or approves continuing education for electrician certification renewal purposes. Nor does DAS post a list of continuing education providers on its website.

To renew, fill out the application form found on the DAS Website (the application will not become available until fall of 2008). On the application he/she must show under penalty of perjury that he/she has worked 2,000 hours in the industry and taken 32 hours of continuing education relevant to the category of certification. DAS accepts payment only by check or money order payable to: DIR - Electrician Certification Fund. Payment must be included for certification to be renewed.

CNA understands that you will want some assurance that we have received your application. We have, therefore, enclosed a confirmation card with the application guide. We ask you to complete and send this card with your application. We will mail the card back to you to confirm receipt of your application. If you have downloaded the application and required forms from the website and wish to have a notice card completed and returned to you, please include a stamp with your completed application.

Your application fee for certification is separate from the renewal fee of that certification. Fees cannot be commingled or pro-rated under Colorado law. The application fee is a one-time fee paid at the time of application for a license or certificate or upgrade to a new level of certification. All licenses, certifications, and registrations expire on June 30 of odd-numbered years.

The individual fees are carefully determined to support the ongoing activities of the CNA Certification Program. Current, dated payments of the total fee(s) (by cheque, money order or credit card) must be submitted with your application.

If the contractor submits its renewal application sixty-days prior to its certification expiration date, the current certificate remains in effect until the Contractor Prequalification Unit takes an action. If the contractor submits its renewal application within the sixty-day period of its certificate expiration, the current certificate may expire and will not be in effect until the Contractor Prequalification Unit takes an action.

The requirements for GIAC Silver certification is one proctored exam which demonstrates the candidate's knowledge of the subject matter. If a candidate wishes to further distinguish him or herself, GIAC Gold is a second level of certification which requires completion of a technical paper. Technical papers will cover an important area of security related to the certification the student is seeking.

Yes, simply fax or mail in a copy of your valid motor insurance certificate to 6469 0872, indicating your address and contact numbers on the fax. Once your fax has been received, we will process your renewal and mail a replacement card to you within 3 weeks’ time.

The individual renewal form is a legal document and can only be signed by the licensed architect assigned to that specific registration number. No exceptions will apply. If you do not sign your renewal form it will be considered incomplete and returned to you.

The Certification form is to declare that each Bulk Filer is authorized to file multiple returns for their listed entities.

Once the credential holder meets the requirements of the CCR program, PMI's certification system will update the credential holder's profile to allow them to complete the renewal process online. The credential holder is alerted via an e-mail to the address that PMI has on record.
