The newest Demo (Full Version) install of Music Book Deluxe is Vista compatible. If you have not installed Music Book Deluxe yet then download the Demo to install. The CDROM might upgrade, however Vista's UAC can get in the way. You can download a Acrobat PDF from our upgrade center that has full instructions on how to install from cd in Vista. If you have not disabled the User Acount Control (UAC) of Window Vista, then when you run AB Commander, it starts executing with the restricted (standard user) rights, just like most other programs do. If at some point you need to perform an operation that requires the administrative privileges, you can use the Tools - Restart as Administrator command of AB Commander to restart it with the full administrative rights.

You can do it by pressing the CTRL and SHIFT key simultaneously while double-clicking on the program to execute (or while pressing the Enter key to run the program). It would have the same effect as if you would have right-clicked on the program and selected Run as administrator from the shortcut menu. Commander tries hard to keep the columns of the panels the way you've set them up. Sometimes, however, Windows Vista takes control of them and rearranges them the way it thinks is better.

You will need to run DarkSpace with administrator privilages. This is accomplished by simply right-clicking on the application, and selecting "Run as Adminstrator". Darkspace.exe is the launcher program, GCQL.exe is the lobby, Client.exe is the game client itself.

Download the Windows XP installer, rightclick it and click on compatibility tab and run as WinXP SP2. Click apply and ok, and doubleclick the installer and follow the instructions to install. Browse to C:\Program Files\CommunityTSC\TSC\ and update compatibility info for D2OL.exe as above as well. The program is ready to run on Vista. Credit must go to where it deserved.
