None of the ingredients in Balance bars contain gluten. However, Balance bars are not a certified gluten-free product. Extremely hard to detect traces of gluten may be found in the machinery or raw materials (primarily sweeteners) used in manufacturing the product, and traces may be found in some bars.

Yes, the grain used in the alcohol base for our vanilla is GE-free Corn grain. It contains no wheat, wheat gluten, barley, spelt oats or rye. Our chocolate liquor does not contain any alcohol in fact the contents are cocoa solids and cocoa butter. Chocolate liquor is merely a roasted cocoa bean that has been pulverized into a liquid form.
