In all seriousness, while there are no pan-CR food taboos, there are many individuals who use food choices and behaviours to deepen their spiritual connection to CR. There is a strong tradition of feasting as both celebration and offering of hospitality, and traditions which demand that a guest must be offered food, drink, and the chance to wash upon arrival. Many CRs extend this to a modern context, and will offer such hospitality to their guests.

It would be more efficient if you book through your own CRS or our Sabre On-line system or call the airlines directly for reservation and then release your PNR to us. However, some of our programs do require the reservation to be made by Vietlink Travel & Service. Interested gardeners met in November 1999 to discuss applying to the city for a Neighborhood matching grant to cover the costs of designing a garden in Magnuson Park. A Small and Simple, $10,000 grant was applied for under the name of the Magnuson Gardens Coalition. As part of the grant requirement, gardeners pledged volunteer time (in-kind match) to match the dollars of the grant. The grant was awarded to the group in March 2000 and the process of community outreach and garden design began.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funded the three year EPEAT development process through a cooperative agreement with the Zero Waste Alliance www.zerowaste.org. EPA is also providing $375,000 in grant money over three years to the Green Electronics Council to fund the initial startup costs. By the end of the start-up phase, EPEAT will be funded by fees paid by the manufacturers based on their relative size in the market.
