Normally when you double-click on a file in the right-hand list, it is displayed in a separate browser window. However, if you hold down shift while double-clicking, your browser should prompt you to save the file instead. In Webmin versions 0.966 and above, you can also download by selecting the file and clicking on the Save button in the top-left corner of the file manager.

This is not a feature of AiOS - it's from Firefox itself. Do the following to enable/disable this feature: Open the AiOS options dialog, choose Misc. > Extensions or Misc. > Themes in Fx 1.5 or Panels > Add-ons in Fx 2.x. Make sure you enabled the advanced options mode in AiOS. Check these setting by clicking on the settings buttons at the bottom of the dialog and tick the option Advanced Mode. Type in the text field the language acronyms of your choice as a comma-separated list.

We like wget, because you can tell it to play nice and go slow. It's highly configurable and very powerful. Wget runs on all Unix platforms (incl. Mac OS X), and it comes standard with Cygwin on Windows. If you prefer something graphical, Mozilla's built-in download manager works fine.

The download is a zipped folder (.zip) containing a folder of templates (native POT format), and 3 Backgrounds (.jpg at 72 dpi).

When you install Windows 2000, you may notice that File Manager (Winfile.exe) is not available. However, if you upgrade a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows NT, File Manager may be available and may still function normally. File Manager is not included with Windows 2000. If you upgrade a computer on which File Manager is available, it remains available.

Our web-based file manager is a browsing, uploading and downloading tool, specifically designed for the needs of new users. Using the web-based file manager, they can execute specific file-related commands with ease.

Download managers increase your download speed by connecting to the server multiple times. Doing this does not significantly increase download speeds but dramatically hurts the performance of the server. If you wish to use queue to download from the HTTP servers, be sure you set your download program to only use one connection at a time.

If you have a firewall that does not auto configure the download manager when you installed it and need to manually open the required ports; If you are not sure how to manually configure your firewall you will need to consult the FAQ or support for your installed firewall program. Our support staff unfortunately does not have the knowledge base to assist users with the huge variety of firewalls or proxies nor to take the responsibility in assisting you to open the security of your computer.

The best way to download any ZIP in an HTTP link as ours are is to right-click on the download link, and select "Save Target As" and then save the file to your hard drive, rather than select "Open from it's current location", using Internet Explorer. However, with some versions of Internet Explorer, sometimes this seems to result in a partially downloaded file, and further attempts to download always fail.

Prior to release 3.1, you only needed one floppy image to install FreeBSD, namely floppies/boot.flp. However, since release 3.1 the Project has added base support for a wide variety of hardware which needed more space, and thus for 3.x and 4.x we now use two floppy images, namely floppies/kernel.flp and floppies/mfsroot.flp. These images need to be copied onto floppies by tools like fdimage or dd(1).

In order to prevent our system from being used to spread viruses, we purposely remove the .exe extension in executable files. If you still decided you would like to download and execute it, simple rename the file and add the “.exe” extension.

The actual download speed achieved is dependant on the type of your connection to the Internet and traffic using the Internet at any given time. If you want downloads without speed limitations from sendspace, join Max™. Free users can download at our basic speed, set to spread the bandwidth load among the greatest number of users. It is also possible to download more than one file at a time if you have a sendspace Max™ account.

It is always advisable to scan any file you download for viruses, trojans, worms, etc. If you remain unsure, ask the sender for more details.

If you don't know how to download a file, you should ask someone who can sit down with you and personally show you what to do. Basically, you click on the link, save it to your desktop or whatever directory you choose, then unzip the file. Make sure you pay attention to the folder that you saved the downloaded file into.
