Lightbox creates temporary thumbnail files and stores them on your computer so that file viewing is as fast as possible. You have full control of the creation of temporary thumbnail files. You can specify the location where these files are stored, how much hard disk space you wish Lightbox to use for temporary thumbnail files, and can delete the temporary thumbnail files at anytime. These settings are all contained in the Options dialog box in Lightbox.

Depending on the size of the original document, some of the thumbnails are less than 1% of the size of the original. This extreme condensation of information is difficult to do with perfect clarity. After upgrading to a more recent version of PHP, it is possible a different MimeMagic.php function is being used to detect file MIME types, particularly the built-in PHP function mime_content_type, which fails to detect PNG files. Version 3.0.7 of SimEnhancer 3D primarily adds support for the Making Magic expansion. One of the changes in the Making Magic expansion is that the game no longer saves thumbnails into the character data at all. With earlier expansions it would save it into the data but even with Unleashed and Superstar expansions it would only save it under certain circumstances or in some cases not at all. I.E. Triggers are currently stored in .TRG files, with one such file one per table. In other words, a trigger belongs to a table. In the future, we plan to change this so that trigger information will be included in the .FRM file that defines the structure of the table. Animated thumbnails are a unique innovation to Lightbox. Many people incorrectly believe that this cannot be done in Windows 98. It just requires an extra step. (If you have a really old version of Windows 98, you might need to download some of Microsoft's updates first.) Open the properties dialog for the folder for which you wish to display thumbnails (right click, then select properties, or highlight the folder, then do file->properties).
