Will the nits fall out after treatment?
Head Lice FAQ - BanliceNo such luck. A special protein virtually 'glues' the nits to the hair follicles and there's no product that can dislodge them. To get rid of them, use a fine-toothed comb or your fingernails. It's difficult, but must be done! Banlice® is one of the best products for children because as a mousse, it's easy to use and control. So it minimises the chance of excess liquid dripping in their eyes. See similar questions...
How do I hatch baby brine shrimp?
Frequently Asked Cichlid QuestionsHatching baby brine is relatively easy. You can go the your local pet store and buy a hatching kit which includes brine shrimp eggs and a hatcher and follow the included instructions. Purchase a brine shrimp net if one is not included in the kit. You can also build a hatcher of your own out of a one-gallon jar with an airstone or as I do, use an inverted 3-liter bottle with air feeding from the narrow neck. I cut the bottom out of the bottle and save as a cover. See similar questions...

How do head lice and nits differ?
Head lice and hair liceHead lice are the insects that crawl around on your head. Nits are actually clusters of tiny white sacs that contain eggs. Nits generally cluster close to the skin but they can also appear on individual hair strands. If you try to remove the nits, you probably will pull hairs out because they are firmly attached. You need not worry about nits that you see further down on hair strands. These hatched a while back and they'll just grow out. See similar questions...
Why is water leaking into my hatch area?
_7First try adjusting the rubber posts at each corner of the hatch by screwing them in in 1/2 turn increments. This will allow the hatch to close tighter thereby forming a better seal at the weather stripping. If this doesn't seem to work, then check with your dealer as there's a Technical Service Bulletin (#531032) which calls for adding a sealer to the weather stripping carrier. See similar questions...

At what temperatures do eggs hatch in an incubator?
The Chook Shed - Frequently Asked QuestionsIf the incubator has a fan to circulate the air, you want it at 100F. If the incubator is still air then you need to have the temperature at about 103F measured at the TOP of the eggs. In this kind of incubator, you will need to make sure that all the eggs are the same size or else the bigger ones will get too hot and the smaller ones will be too cold. Don't forget to turn the eggs at least three times each day and to make sure you have a water dish always filled for humidity. Good luck! See similar questions...

Should I help chicks hatch?
classroom incubation and embryology questionsYou should not help the chicks from the shell. There is usually a good reason if a chick doesn't hatch. Also prematurely helping the chick hatch could cripple or infect it. Remember that after it has made a hole in the shell the chick stops piping for a few hours and rests while its lungs are getting used to the outside atmosphere. Humidity is critical at hatching time and you shouldn't open the incubator until most chicks have hatched. Don't allow your curiosity to damage your hatch. See similar questions...
Do you recommend letting grouse eggs hatch under broody bantams?
QAnswer: My simple answer would have to be no, but bear in mind that in a few cases I've accidentally forgotten a hatch and had it turn out alright. I do, however, consider those cases to be the exception, rather than the rule. Some bantams seem to sense, probably due to the hatchling's vocalizations that they are not chickens and will proceed to kill or desert the chicks. See similar questions...
