In order to automatically run your backup when no user is logged on, then you need to install the program "as a service" and add an event in the Schedule tab in order to have your backup start automatically. If the program is already installed you need to install it again as a service. When the program is running as a service under Windows 2003 / XP / 2000 / NT you will get the Service Options enabled in the Backup tab.

The demon must be started in the startup-sequence before the 'IPrefs' line and after the 'ENV:' assignment. This is important in order for it to work properly. Yes! mod_auth_ntlm_winbind will authenticate your user, and then you can snag their username with $_SERVER["REMOTE_USER"]. It only authenticates users though, there's no group control or user information etc. That being said, using mod_auth_ntlm_winbind and adLDAP *together* is pretty sexy. mod_auth_ntlm_winbind logs them in automatically, and you can use adLDAP for your more specific access controls. Name your post-boot script as -e.g.- "zzboot" or something similar which sorts last. If you need to run several scripts, then call them all from within "zzboot".
