Most surgeons require that patients wear an elastic compression garment for a certain length of time after liposuction. Other garments are made from elastic cloth typical to that used for girdles. The garments are usually crotchless so that the patient can urinate and defecate without having to remove the garment.

after 7 days you can take off the compression garment, bandages and plasters, take a shower, wash the garment and wear it for the next, ie. second week; after 2 weeks of constant wearing of the compression garment, you can take off it once a day just to take a shower - and do it so in the 3rd and 4th week following the operation; After 10 days from the operation day, during the next 6 weeks massage the treated areas once a day for 1h.

Simple clothing that opens in the front or pulls over easily, and loose pants are best for patients who are undergoing Pure Tumescent Liposuction plastic surgery. It is normal to experience some pain for an hour or two following surgery, for which as much pain medication as necessary is given.
