The continuing education program at VanderCook has been an integral part of the College's graduate program since the early 1940's, and is one of the foremost programs of its kind in the country. VanderCook's Music Education Centers of America(MECA) provides graduate level courses designed to fill the practical needs of band, choral, general and string music educators.

Music teachers who have earned a degree in music or a bachelor's degree in another discipline with a minimum of 60 hours of music credits at the undergraduate level may register for classes.

The American Montessori Society offers scholarships for those enrolled in our programs. Scholarships are also available from Elgin Community College for those living or working within their district. MECA also offers a variety of payment plans for tuition.

Posters should be put up on Sunday, May 21, beginning at noon (when the exhibit hall opens). Please plan to leave your poster up until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, so that as many attendees as possible can view your results.

Download the Windows XP installer, rightclick it and click on compatibility tab and run as WinXP SP2. Click apply and ok, and doubleclick the installer and follow the instructions to install. With all our new domain registrations we offer a free 10mb of webspace for you to upload your website. Log in to your site's control panel (go to http://www.yoursite.com:2082) and click the 'file manager' icon. From there you will be able to upload files to your server.
