SSH provides end to end encryption whereas the VPN concentrator only provides encryption from your client up to the concentrator hardware itself, which is located on the UF core network. Yes. MS Networking, NetWare IP, and AppleShare IP all work over a VPN connection. Drive mounting or file sharing which relies on non-IP protocols such as AppleTalk or IPX will not work. The most common reason for this problem is the absence of a bootable master boot record or active partition on the target disk. Project files created by version 4.1 and higher of Sequencher (Mac or Windows) are entirely cross-platform compatible. Additionally, Sequencher is backwards compatible with previous project file formats on the same platform (any Mac version of Sequencher can read project files created by a previous version of Sequencher on the Mac, and the same is true for Windows). On the client side, if the VPN tunnel type is selected as "Automatic", then the order is PPTP->L2TP->SSTP. i.e. try PPTP first, if that fails try L2TP, if that fails try SSTP. Note: The tunnel type which the client is able to successfully connect will be used for next reconnection and the automatic -tunnel selection logic is not retried till it fails.
