No we don't just do canvas printing, we can print to fine art paper and photo paper so you can frame yourself. We can create poster prints from your images also, just email for more details. Your personal details are stored on secure server, you can login to the customer area and change your details at any time including delivery address. If paying online we keep your details for 8 weeks from day of purchase and they are then erased.

The canvas transfer process allows you to choose a poster from our Museum collection and transform it into a work of art on canvas. A print on canvas option allows you to select one of your personal digital images or Member Art piece and have it printed directly on to high quality canvas. Both are water resistant, require no glazing and can be stretched on to stretcher bars for framing. You can choose to add brushstrokes to canvas transfers. This option is not available for prints on canvas.

We can print any canvas size you want. There are no standard sizes, so you can have a canvas up to 1.35m x 15m!

Yes, we use an acrylic based UV protection coating on all our canvas prints, and most acrylic based paints and coatings should work fine. We can recommend products, but suggest testing any others first to be sure.

Before stretching your canvas giclee you will need to spray the print with a fixative/laminate. Spray fixative is available from most art/craft stores and many have non-yellowing and UV protective properties. Spray your print with several light coats in a well ventilated area, following the directions on the product. Because the ink is water-based, it is very important that you spray it with light coats, otherwise the ink might run.

No, the print should last a lifetime – imagey prints are lightfast and durable. But please note that ink manufacturers recommend that for optimum longevity, it is best to avoid placing your print in direct sunlight.

Steam will not damage the canvas material or the print or the wooden frame in normal bathroom conditions. Prolonged steam could damage the frame - but that would have to be like a steam room i.e. constant and hot. If just normal bathroom conditions then there should be no problem. Avoid splashing water on the wooden frame. A minor splash won't hurt, but best to avoid.

No, canvas prints are only available in sizes 16 x 20 and above. Any less than that really wouldn't do the print justice.

Its a personal choice. Stretched Canvas can by hung directly on a wall without a frame for a contemporary look. If you prefer the look of a traditional canvas painting you can add a frame. Please note that there are less frame choices for canvas prints because of the depth of the internal canvas frame.

We use only the finest quality digitally coated poly/cotton acid free matte canvas from Magiclee. Gloss and Textured canvas also available.

All canvas prints come stretched over a 1" deep wooden frame, ready to hang. Come into the shop to pick it up. If you want to frame it yourself, or have it posted, we can roll it up into a postpack to minimize damage. Please call us to arrange other methods. Once you have your terrific new canvas hung on the wall, all that is required is a monthly feather dusting and that's it. The prints will survive constant sunlight and a light shower..
