The ALC metering directly measures the performance of your driver tube. Usually, when the tube starts to go soft, it will be hard to obtain full ALC swing on the highest bands. 10M will always go first. As long as you have sufficient drive to get well into the ALC range on the bands that you work, the tube is fine. When ALC drops to zero on bands of interest, it's time to replace it.

It sounds like a good tube gone bad. Best thing to do here is exchange the tubes one at a time between the two channels to confirm this. This is something you can do yourself if you want; just unplug it, let it sit for a half hour or so to discharge the volts so you don't put your hand somewhere and get zapped, take off the top cover, and exchange the tubes one at a time and see if the problem switches channels. Replacing the driver tube changes tuning enough that the rig can usually benefit from a realignment of the RF board. Different tube capacitances will shift the tuning on the Rx mixer and Tx driver stages. It's usually not severe , and in worst case you will notice that the DRIVE peaking on receive doesn't match the DRIVE tuning for maximum ALC. A realignment will correct that, and line up the receiver preselector with the transmitter drive peaking once again. See similar questions...

If your amp has multiple output tubes, whether push-pull or single-ended, you should replace all of them at once. If you are gigging with an amp, however, you could have extra tubes matched to your tubes that are being used, so that if one broke or the filament burned out you could replace just one tube. It's best not just to depend on a numbering scheme or color codes to match tubes. If possible, buy truly matched sets from a reputable tube dealer. In the long run you'll be happier. The part is made by E-Switch with the part number TL1100 and the Mouser P/N is 612-TL1100. I have been using this part for a long time when replacing the TS-9 style switch. You might want to add a second source. The second source is also a Mouser part made by Mountain Switch. It's Mouser P/N is 101-0621.
