Some CPU PROMs have pcimsg? and probemsg? variables to give additional PCI related info. You can turn them ON in a way similar to above way. "pcimsg?" controls display of all accesses to PCI configuration space. "probemsg?" controls display of probing status information including physical allocation. Because the bitrate you encoded the audio with is too large to fit the movie on any CD. Check if you have libmp3lame installed properly. Because ASF uses variable frame rate but AVI uses a fixed one, you have to set it by hand using -ofps. See similar questions...

If you have the subversion client installed, the latest x264 sources can be gotten with this command: svn co svn://svn.videolan.org/x264/trunk x264 MPlayer sources are updated whenever an x264 API change occurs, so it is always suggested to use MPlayer from Subversion as well. Do you have a stray codecs.conf file in ~/.mplayer/, /etc/, /usr/local/etc/ or a similar location? Remove it, an outdated codecs.conf file can cause obscure problems and is intended for use only by developers working on codec support. Set CMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE to ON. This will make generator to produce all outputs, including compiler lines. If you are on Windows using Borland or NMake Makefiles, then you will see lines like: cl @c:\DOCUME~1\ANDY~1.KIT\LOCALS~1\Temp\nma03504 The reason for this is that Borland and Microsoft Visual Studio make programs have limitation on the length of command strings.
