The Rock Harbor Lodge is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is a lodge with "American plan" hotel rooms (meals included). There are also "house keeping" cabins. Advance reservations are required. The house keeping cabins have a stove, refrigerator, pans and plates etc. For more information go to the Rock Harbor Lodge site at: www.isleroyaleresort.com.

Several motels are located within a mile of the Airport. On occasion, major activities at the University of Nebraska could make lodging more difficult to find. Be sure to check well in advance of your trip. You may also check at the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau. No. Film and film inside cameras, recorded or blank videotapes, and computer software will not be damaged by screening. Security personnel at these checkpoints may ask you to open and turn on your laptop computer.

Limited lodging is available on Monday night at the Airlie Center, if needed. In most cases, the cost of Monday night's lodging is outside of the seminar fee. NWS has already secured lodging at the Airlie Center on Monday night for some of their participants. A - Service is now available to Scott, Jackson, Washington, Jefferson, Jennings and Clark Counties. As new sites become active, we will be able to provide service to many new locations. If we can detect signal at your location you can sign up for service. All potential locations have to be site surveyed to determine signal and signal strengths. Site surveys are done if we feel there is a good chance to get a signal.

There are a variety of lodging concessioners in the park from dorm-style accommodations and cabins to full-service resort hotels. For more information on accommodations in the park visit the Lodging page. There are five developed campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park. Reservations are available for some campgrounds for group sites, as well as first-come, first-served. The fee is $17 per night for a site or $5 per person per night for hiker/biker. Jenny Lake Campground is $19 per night.

There are many choices -- hotels, bed and breakfasts, and high quality guest ranches. We can provide a detailed accommodations list.

You have two choices: outdoor or indoor. Indoor lodging consists of cabins with bunkbeds; your indoor lodging assignment will be made by the WhiteWater Express staff and you will be notified by mail a few weeks before the event. Outdoor lodging consists of anything from a puptent through a walltent, through a pop-top camper vehicle through motorhome (yes, it does sound ridiculous, but that's the way it is).

Overnight lodging is available for students and guests in a UWP residence hall. The cost is $16 per person for a double room. Students will be placed with other students; family members will be placed together as space allows. Items provided by the residence hall include: bed linens, pillows, towels, and washcloths. Check-in at the residence hall is anytime between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on the day prior to New Student Registration--Pioneer Passage.

Information about more than 1,300 cabin or chalet rentals, bed and breakfast inns, hotels and motels can be found here. The only true lodging in the Park itself is LeConte Lodge, which can only be reached by hiking trail. There are 5 major trails to Mt. LeConte. The most popular route is the Alum Cave Bluff trail.
