NVIDIA? SLI? (Scalable Link Interface) is a high-performance technology that intelligently combines and scales graphics performance by having multiple NVIDIA GPUs in a single system. SLI Technology can scale both geometry and fill rate performance for two GPUs.

SLI is designed for PCI Express. This new bus has superior bandwidth (two to four times AGP 8X), support for isochronous data transport, and the capability to drive multiple high-speed graphics devices. AGP 8X was limited to one high-speed graphics device and was not a good candidate for SLI.

There is no such thing as typical recumbent ergonomics. Some models have upright seats, others have-laid back seats. Some have low pedals (in the same position as a diamond-frame bike) and others have very high pedals (up to 9 inches higher than your seat base). Basic user-friendly ergonomics include a moderate seat height of around 20 or so inches off the ground, with pedals mounted noticeably lower (a similar height to a diamond-frame bike).

This depends upon the application's bottlenecks. If the application is bus limited, AGP may be faster than SLI. If the application is fill rate limited and not CPU bound, SLI may be faster. In general SLI will have better performance than AGP in fill rate.

Voodoo2 requires two open PCI cards; two identical Voodoo2 based cards from the same manufacturer, and Voodoo2 drivers. Scan Line Interleaving is limited to two cards. Depends on the application. If the application is bus bandwidth limited and not fill rate limited, an AGP solution could be faster. If the application is fill rate limited, and not processor bound, SLI could outperform AGP. Voodoo2 is AGP 1x compatible.

Yes, Voodoo2 will function in SLI mode in non-contiguous PCI slots as long as the SLI cable is long enough to reach between the two cards. The current cable length is 3.1".

The Component side of the PCI card is the B side, and the solder side of the card is the A side. If looking from the back of the system chassis, the B side is on the right and the A side is on the left. The PCI bus has 5V, 3.3V, 12V, -12V and VIO on the bus. The VIO is intended as the power to the PCI bus interface controller ICs. The VIO could be either 5V or 3.3V, depending on the motherboard PCI expansion slot design.

First of all, make sure that both cards are listed in the Device Manager under the "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers" section. Also, ensure that both cards are using the same driver. If you are experiencing crashes or lock-ups, a good way to test and see if it's a hardware problem is to use one Voodoo2 card by itself, and see if you still have the problem. Then swap the cards, using the other Voodoo2 by itself.

Whether a client adapter is a 16-bit PCMCIA card or a 32-bit CardBus card doesn't matter to NetStumbler. However, it may matter to your laptop. CardBus is a fairly recent technology, and laptops built before 1999 generally don't have CardBus slots. If you buy a CardBus card and your laptop lacks a CardBus slot, the card won't fully insert and will not function at all.

You can use any unique name in the configuration file for each screen but it's easiest to use the hostname of the computer. That's the computer name not including the domain. For example, a computer with the fully qualified domain name xyz.foo.com has the hostname xyz. There should also be an alias for xyz to xyz.foo.com. If you don't use the computer's hostname, you have to tell synergy the name of the screen using a command line option, or the startup dialog on Windows.

If your configuration has somehow been screwed up, you can get back the standard configuration with the command: If you only need a specific configuration file, you can limit it to that file by specifying the file on the command line: This is usually necessary because someone deleted the files by mistake, or because someone has old files, and they need to be updated. The files affected are: .cshrc, .login, .logout, .xsession, .Xresources, .mwmrc, .principals, .profile, .tvtwmrc, .twmrc, .zephyr.

First, CrossFire works with ALL games with NO driver updates or anything of that sort, and ALL games that are graphically bottlenecked will see a GIANT performance boost, up to 2x or as much of an increase until the bottleneck falls back off of the GPU's and to the memory, CPU etc.

SLI Antialiasing is a new standalone rendering mode that offers up to double the antialiasing performance by splitting the antialiasing workload between the two graphics cards. When enabled, SLI Antialiasing offers 2 new antialiasing options: SLI8x and SLI16x. In the current driver, this rendering mode can be enabled by following these quick instructions.
