The candles wax becomes very easy to remove when becomes warm, so simply dip your candelabra or candlesticks in hot water for a few minutes (our grandmother used to do it in a large bowl) so that the wax will become warm and can then, be easily removed. Don't forget to wipe all the excess water immediately with a soft dry cloth so no drop stains will remain.

Ear Candles are not proven to remove ear wax. Most people use ear candles to promote rest and relaxation. Some people claim that ear candles soften and dry up ear wax and hence promote the natural removal of ear wax.

In most cases, swabbing the opening of the ear canal with the corner of a twisted damp washcloth will remove excessive ear wax. Avoid too much moister or going too deep since prolonged moisture in the ear canal can lead to an infection. Probing with bobby pins, match sticks, Q-tips, etc. is strongly discouraged.

We use the finest quality of container wax available in our candles. It is a low burn wax so your candles burn longer than most others. It is a soft, creamy consistency so the scent molecules attach throughout the melting process creating a stronger scent that remains throughout the candle. The soft wax also allows the dye molecules to attach better so your candle will not fade over time.

Consult the laundering instructions provided by manufacturer of the fabric. Professional cleaners are valuable sources of information. If attempting to clean the item yourself, it is important to allow the wax to completely harden. Once hard, gently chip away the wax from the fabric. After most of the wax has been removed, run hot water through the fabric. Citrus or oil-based cleaners are the most effective in removing stains.

Here are are favorite tips for removing wax from various types of surfaces. Remember to ALWAYS test in an inconspicuous spot before proceeding, and carefully follow the instructions on any commercial products you use. (We carry a selection of good wax removal products; pick one up the next time you visit so you'll have it on hand when needed!) Use a plastic knife or old credit card to gently scrape off as much wax as you can, then scrape up remaining wax with a razor blade.

All you need to do when the candle is finished burning is to simply grab the remaining wax with your fingers and peel it away. There is no need to add water into your candle cups or votive holders.

We are finding more and more that our customers prefer the Natural Soy Wax candle that we offer, due to the fact that they put out far less soot than other types of candles. Many feel that their Natural Soy Wax candles give off a stronger scent, and because it is a slower burning candle, they seem to last longer than other types of wax.

Consider the force that would be required to extract a thick substance, such as ear wax. Even in a very softened, fluid state, the suction required would be intense. It is just not possible for a flame at the end of a hollow cone to generate enough suction to move a solid, or even a liquid.

Pewter is a soft metal with a low melting point, so DO NOT put your pewter items into the dishwasher. Hand wash your items carefully in warm soapy water. Store all of your pewter items upright to prevent warping over time. A bonus with pewter is that it does not tarnish! It can, however, be polished with a pewter polish (available from Hagerty), or washed in warm soapy water.

Place the glass container in a pan of hot water with a trivet underneath the glass to keep it positioned off the bottom of the pan. Place the pan on your stove with the burner set at low to maintain a high water temperature. Don't Let the ?water boil unless you are absolutely sure your glass container can withstand such extreme heat. If the sides of your container are straight - you may withdraw the wax "plug" in approximately 15 minutes by pulling up on the wick.

The problem is nearly always because the wick is too long. You must keep the wick trimmed to ? inch so that the flame is close enough to the wax to melt it. If the wick is too long, either the candle will not burn or the flame will be too large and the wax will spill over the edges and burn much too fast. It will also produce soot if the wick is too long.

Ear wax (cerumen) is normal in healthy ears. The purpose of cerumen is to moisturize and protect the skin of the ear canal and to trap dust and particles before they reach the ear drum. Cerumen is formed in the outer part of the ear canal. Normally, wax makes its way to the outer opening of the ear canal, flakes up, and falls out.

Some people have more wax then others. Earwax is okay unless it blocks the ear canal and causes a hearing loss. We do not recommend cleaning your ears at home. It is wise to see a physician for ear cleaning.

Dentists remove fillings every day. However, this is usually done in a manner exposing the patient to dangerous levels of mercury. Therefore, it is best to seek out a dentist who knows how to protect the patient from this increased exposure is also knowledgeable in detoxification protocols.
