Warmrails are designed to be splash proof. They are not designed for immersion in water, being drenched in water or in fact anything more than the occasional splash. If there is a chance that the Warmrail could encounter more water than the occasional splash it should not be mounted in that location. When at all possible you should purge from the smallest enclosure to the largest. Air looks to find a space to go to next therefore by purging the smaller enclosure first you give the air the best opportunity to find the larger enclosure. In '94 you could get a shower at the Teller Hotel in Silverton for a couple bucks. I assume this is still the case. This is ordinarily an easy walk from the start/finish, but I wouldn't want to do it after the run! There are no showers at the South Mineral Creek campground.
