There are two ways of accomplishing this. The first is to use JDK 1.4 or later. These have API calls for creating fullscreen windows directly. If you need to use an earlier version of the JDK, then follow these instructions: PREFERRED - fullscreen mode is preferred. Try to initiate fullscreen mode but if that fails, use a regular window instead. The context menu and most of the keyboard shortcuts do not work in Direct3D mode. The only way to exit Direct3D fullscreen is to press Ctrl+C. This will also stop playback. Java3D is a low level 3D scene-graph based graphics programming API for the java language. It does not form part of the core APIs required by the Java specification. There are two ways: either by using the menu at the top of your screen to select Playback > Fullscreen; or, once a video is already playing, by clicking on the "play fullscreen" button this is the smaller "play" arrow with a square around it, located directly to the right of the normal "play" button at the bottom of the player. mentioned before, FreeTube streams can be made fullscreen by double clicking the view window. Once in this mode, FreeTube will expand and take up the entire screen and show your selected video stream. To exit out of this mode, simply hit the escape button and you will be return to the normal sized player. If you hit the space button or click on the mouse, you may end up pausing the stream - in which case you can simply hit the space button or click the mouse to resume the stream. This effect happens sometimes on some systems. What you usually get is black screen. You can still switch to another task using Alt-Tab. You probably want to kill the game task using Task Manager (you can get to Task Manager after pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete). See similar questions...

Whatever you make of it. Sun has now released the source code to Java3D as a project under the Java.net site. The license is split between BSD for the utility code, and a SCSL-like license for the core runtime and vecmath parts. Java3D is another 3D programming API that exists on a similar level to OpenGL, Direct3D, PHIGS and similar systems. It is designed to use hardware accelaration wherever possible based on the underlying graphics architecture of the OS. This is the typical ?square? image favoured (until very recently) by television presentations. This aspect ratio is expressed as FS 4:3 or (1.33:1 in decimal terms) denoting that the frame is 1.33 times as wide as it is tall. Fullscreen presentations will fill the entire screen area of standard ?square? fullscreen televisions.
