The first thing that you need to understand about digital pictures is that they don't have an inherent DPI rating. That's right, the resolution of digital images is not measured in DPI. Format: jpg, jpeg and gifs are accepted. Sometimes a file has a .jpg or other acceptable extention but is mislabeled and is not truely in an acceptable format. In such cases the image may not upload properly. Resolution: A resolution returned with a 50k file size is more than adequate. Files of more than 250k in file size do not upload automatically. These resoultions are significantly lower than a printed work, but look just as good as higher resolution images on a monitor and load faster. See similar questions...

For the representation of a trade mark which is not a word mark, the only attachment format accepted is JPEG, the maximum size is DIN A4 (945 pixels x 1899 pixels) and the attachment must not exceed 2 MB. For all other attachments, a JPEG attachment (a scanned version of the document) and/or a PDF document (no more than 10 pages) will be accepted. The clinical images can be can be submitted on a CD. The instructions for submitting the clinical images on CD will be in the testing materials package the site gets when they apply for accreditation. The short answer: If you are editing the file and plan to reopen it in your image editing program later, you should save it in a lossless format such as TIFF, or one of the other lossless formats supported by your image editor. Well . . . it doesn't actually. What actually happens is that when the lens is wide open, the center of the image is very bright and the corners of the image are VERY dark. So dark in fact that they do not expose the film (When the film is properly exposed for the center of the image). As the lens is stopped down, uniformity of illumination improves and therefore the circle of usable illumination increases. See similar questions...
