While some other manufacturers' replacement cartridges may seem to physically fit in our filter housing, the quality and performance will not be the same. Only Aqua-Pure® sediment cartridges are made with a special process called Progressive Porosity for high quality and outperform other manufacturers' sediment cartridges. In a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, water is being squeezed through a special membrane.

On all players except the RCA J and K series, there is an access panel on top of the player. With the power off and no disc loaded, remove this panel, then open the stylus cartridge retaining lid on the pickup arm itself, and the cartridge will be visible. The cartridge is locked in place only when the retaining lid is closed, so with that lid open, the cartridge lifts straight up without resistance.

Kaleidescape recommends that all Disk Cartridges should be left in the Server until the replacement Disk Cartridge has arrived. Please do not remove a Disk Cartridge unless instructed to do so by Kaleidescape Technical Support. The Server chassis will cool properly only when all its slots are filled with a Disk Cartridge (blank or containing a hard disk drive).

Cartridge filters do not have a backwash valve. Beauty Pools does provide a valve at the bottom of the filter so you can still have the opportunity to take water out of the pool when the need arises (see question above). Back to Top

Cartridges are designed either solid or split. The solid cartridges are normally used on the idler side of the roller where the bearing can be easily slipped off the end of the shaft. The split cartridges are used on the driven side of the roller where the drive sprocket is "outside" the bearing. The split cartridge allows the bearing cartridge to be changed without removing the drive sprocket. Cartridges are also designed with and without thrust faces.

I've just replaced the air filter by a K&N 'free flowing' filter (K&N #TB0002), to be dropped into the airbox. As the costs of the original Triumph foam filter and the K&N are comparable I thought it a good idea. The K&N filter has the advantage that it can be cleaned whereas the original filter can't be according the manual. I however tried that a few months ago, but am unsure about the beneficial effects it had.

Most likely yes, as long as the housing is not tapered. Our replacement filters are designed to be universal and to fit most other point-of-use and whole-house filter housings on the market. If in doubt, email a photo of your existing filter together with its physical measurements (diameter and length) to us and we will confirm for you.

K&N direct replacement filters which install into your vehicle’s factory air box can provide an increase of between 1 and 4 horsepower. Results will vary depending on your vehicle, driving habits, load on the engine (towing for example), existing air system restriction, and other factors.

Look for the arrow showing airflow direction on the old air conditioner furnace filter and remember which way that it points. Make sure that you turn off your HVAC system to stop the airflow. Remove the old air conditioner furnace filter and discard it carefully so you don’t put the dust and other airborne contaminants back in the air. Write the date you install the air conditioner furnace filters on the place indicated on the side of the air filter frame.

Housing constructed or rehabilitated by the agency to replace housing (on a unit-by-unit basis) that is demolished as a result of redevelopment activities.

To install a font cartridge in the printer, follow your printer's specific instructions. The following general procedures apply: Take the printer off-line by pressing the [ON-LINE] key located on the printer control panel. (The ON-LINE indicator light should be off.) Make sure the FORM FEED indicator is off. If it is on, after the printer has stopped receiving data, press the [FORM FEED] key to print the remaining data.

Always follow the printer manufacturer's guidelines for installing new cartridges. You can check your printer user manual. Our cartridges are compatible with the specifications of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), so they will install exactly the same way.

For most lubricants, the filter needs to be changed every 9 ? 12 months. For polyglycols, the filter needs to be changed every 6 ? 9 months. Replacement filters are available from your Summit Distributor.

It is against federal law in the United States for a manufacturer to require the use of a specific brand of air or oil filter unless it provides a replacement air or oil filter, free of charge, under the terms of the vehicle warranty. The life of the filter is directly related to two factors, the purity of the input water and the desired performance with regard to the various contaminants. Note that contaminant levels in the test water were artificially high (10 to over 1000 times higher than those routinely found in municipal water systems).

OMNIFilter cartridges are labeled with an average life (e.g., 6 months for carbon filters). However, if your water flow starts to reduce, or taste and odor problems return, you should replace your cartridge. Carbon filters must be changed at least once every 6 months. Pleated paper or string wound cartridges should be changed every 3-4 months, but this may vary dramatically depending on the quality of your incoming water.

There is no shelf life for these products. They should be good for future use as long as they are kept in the original package and stored in a clean, dry location and not exposed to contaminants.

In many cases, you can identify the shower filter by looking at pictures, but lots of people hesitate to buy a cartridge until they are really sure it will fit their shower filter.
