In a “ground set” there is minimal excavating done to allow for the construction of the prepared pad onto which the home is placed and blocked. In most cases this is a concrete slab. ANSWER: Both of these systems rely on a pit as the water absorption system. In general these will be older systems because in most areas permits cannot be obtained to install pits anymore. A seepage pit has a septic tank in front of it which collects the solids and greases. A cesspool acts as both the septic tank and the soil absorption system. Yes it is. We recommend hand washing in the sink in cold water with a bit of mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly wring out as much as possible and then lay flat to dry. The easiest way to wash the original Cherry-Pit-Pac is to move all the pits to one end, hold them back while washing and rinsing the end that does not contain pits. The crater will be in view of the flyby spacecraft for a time after the impact. From images obtained of the crater by the flyby, the depth of the crater should be able to be determined by analysis of the shadow along one side or by counting pixels in the image and accounting for the slope of the crater.
