Technical Questions What is the fuel-oil mix ratio?
Poulan | OrderTree.com (US)The fuel-oil mixture ratio for all Poulan two-cycle products is 40:1. You can obtain this ratio by mixing 3.2 oz. of oil with one gallon of regular gas. If you have other brands of equipment that require different fuel/oil ratios and you don't want to mix separate fuel cans, you should use the lowest numerical ratio. For example, if you have products requiring 40:1, 50:1, and 32:1 ratios you should use the 32:1 ratio for all products.

What is the oil to fuel ratio I must use for my boat?
BONZÍ SPORTS Frequently Asked Questions - Have a Zeno...For our Zenoah-powered boats, we recommend a 20:1 or 25:1 mixture of a quality 2 cycle synthetic oil. Zenoah recommends 90 or higher octane unleaded fuel (although we have quite a few customers who have had success with 87-89 octane). We recommend a mixture of 25:1 (5 oz of oil to 1 gal of gas) or 20:1 (6 oz of oil). Either will work for you, but you should pick one mixture and not change. The oil needs to be a good 2 stroke synthetic. We recommend AMSOIL. See similar questions...

Why are there so many technical questions on the exam?
HamTestOnline™ — Frequently asked questionsSixty years ago, the government wanted a pool of trained radio operators and electronics technicians to draw from in case of another World War. They used the ham radio exams to achieve this goal. With the advent of digital communications, the military no longer uses Morse code, so training radio operators is much easier. And they now repair radios the same way everyone else does — throw the thing away and get a new one. However, the FCC exams have not kept up with these changes. See similar questions...

What is my fuel mix ... ?
Seagull FAQThere are three possible answers here. Please note that you MUST use the correct fuel mix for your motor or you will ruin it. The fuel mix MUST be fresh. Newer 1979 and newer seagulls with black thumb lever throttles and black carb bodies use the 25:1 mix. See similar questions...
