The minimum age is 17 on the day as per UK Athletic Rules. Runners can still be 16 when they enter but must have reached 17 by race day.

No! We call it "rock camp" because we think girls rock! Camp is a place for all kinds of music, from types that exist already -- like hip hop, punk rock, and salsa - to any kind you want to invent.

Both Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson still wrestle on a regular basis, although Morton more than Gibson. Robert reportedly runs a sports memorabilia store in Florida, but still competes on occasion. Morton works regularly in Southern independents. The two still team as the Rock N' Roll Express from time to time, both here and abroad.

There's a course elevation chart on our course maps page. The maximum elevation is only 74 feet and there aren't any big hills, but there are lots of small, rolling hills throughout the course, so make sure you do regular training runs on hilly courses, if possible.

If you registered for the Half Marathon and want to drop down to the 10K or 5K, you must contact us by March 15 to do so. We will transfer your entry to the other race, but we cannot refund the difference in entry fee. NO RACE DAY CHANGES!

The minimum age for the international distance is 14 years old. Typically in the international triathlon, there are very few individual participants under the age of 18. The sprint distance does not have an official minimum age, however, we strongly encourage parents to become familiar with the course before submitting an entry for a child under the age of 14. All minors must have their parent/guardian complete the ‘minor’ section on page two of the entry form.

The first 13km is undulating (not too steep),. The Auckland Harbour Bridge is a very sharp climb of approximately 1km with the balance of the course being flat (see Course Information & Maps).

Yes, walkers start with the runners at 7:00am. No 'early bird start'. The course will remain open until 11:00am, allowing for a 4-hour half marathon. After this time course support will be limited, and participants assume the role of pedestrians.

The races are of standard (and traditional) distances as recognised by the appropriate governing bodies. The half marathon measures 21.1 km (13 miles 192 yards) - whilst the full marathon length is 42.2 km (26 miles 385 yards).

Berard AIT may be done for any Participant age 3 and up who can cooperate with the Berard method and demonstrates the need.
